Scheduled Climb - Kings Peak

Kings Peak Utah High Point - Multi-day overnight

This remote summit climb is long and arduous, but not technical. UMA guides can shepherd you safely to the roof of Utah and back, generally in 3 days. Camp will be established around 10,000-feet in Henry's Fork. Enjoy quiet nights in Utah's highest mountains.

Rise early, brew up, and ascend to Gunsight Pass. Keep climbing along the high divide to Gunsight Peak before negotiating the North Ridge to Kings Peak, 13,520 feet. Descend via the same moderate line, and savor another night in the wilderness before hiking out the following morning.

UMA provides tents, stoves, and hot meals for breakfast and dinner.

Spring ski descents of the East Face are another great way to experience the roof of Utah. Supportable corn snow can make for efficient early-morning travel up Henrys Fork. 2-days. Contact UMA for more information.
