Description:
Chances are that you can climb harder than you think. An effective approach to redpointing will show you the way. Time to break into the next grade! Spend 3 days in Maple Canyon or American Fork Canyon pushing your grades and your comfort under the guidance of an expert. The emphasis is on movement, reading routes, redpointing, and mental preparation. You'll learn the physical and mental approaches to redpoint climbing, including how to pick your projects, how to ascend a rope after a fall on lead, how to belay someone on a project, and how to put it all together to get to the chains.

Day 1: Review sport leading and belaying a lead climber best practices. Warm up, climb and practice cleaning anchors. Get coaching on technical and movement skills from a broadly experienced guide.
Day 2: Fear of falling and better belaying school. Learn how to project belay and select a climbing project. Hone redpoint techniques, physical and mental.
Day 3: Apply all your learnings from the past 2 days and get sendy with it! Select an appropriate project for the day and try out your recent onsight skills. Improve your onsight and redpoint skills with direct input from your guide.
